Layna Jarvis, Realtor, is a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) with an eye for home staging, unmatched negotiation skills, and 23 years in the industry. Layna helps clients as they shift their life in a different direction to obtain top dollar as they sell and works diligently to find them the perfect home for the right price as they buy.
Layna’s longstanding career has been shaped by focusing on her client’s needs, listening, and treating them like family. She has assisted hundreds of people as they turn their real estate dreams into reality by patiently guiding them through each crucial step of the process. Layna’s goal, whether her clients are selling or purchasing, is to make each transaction stress-free and enjoyable. Layna works with clients throughout the Cache Valley, Ogden and Salt Lake areas.
Layna received the Ripple Effect Award at Youngblood Real Estate. An award highlighting the agent who strives to take the team to the next level by positively motivating others to communicate more efficiently, be creative, and give back to the community. Layna is currently serving as a Board Member of the Utah Association of Realtors Legislative Committee. Layna has also served as a Board Member of the Habitat for Humanity and New Agent Ethics Training Committees.
Prior to becoming a Realtor, Layna gained valuable knowledge in the mortgage industry as a Marketing Director and learned the ins and outs of the construction process as an Office Administrator for a construction company. Her educational background is in Business Management/Marketing and Writing.
Motivated and talented, Layna has been involved in the film industry for many years. Her focus is on full length movies, documentaries, and short films. Layna fulfills many roles within the film industry including; producer, director, business manager, actor, writer and model. Layna enjoys anything outdoors, especially cycling. She is getting ready to compete again in the Saints to Sinners and LOTOJA races this summer.
Originally from Afton, Wyoming, Layna is proud to call Utah home. She loves the area and the people she gets to interact with daily. She has five sons and daughters-in-law, all with families of their own. She always enjoys spending time with her family, and her spoiled, 80- pound lapdog, Booshc.
