Born and raised in Preston Idaho, Nicole values being an active member of her community. She acts as the Chairman of Idaho Days (a much anticipated annual celebration). She, along with her husband, also serve on The Preston City Festival of Lights Board. Nicole is a talented pianist and even plays for her church choir. She believes playing an active role in her community has sharpened her leadership skills and made her more attune with the needs and
wants of the community at large.
Nicole earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing from Brigham Young University-Idaho. She worked in retail management for eight years where she acquired a host of interpersonal skills, learned the importance of flexibly in the work place and strived to create a positive environment for employees and consumers alike.
To Nicole, family is where her heart lies. She, her two daughters and husband love camping and fishing and have learned how to optimize the cold Cache Valley winters through downhill skiing. Nicole lives for a good book series, enjoys gardening and keeps busy attending to her dog, two cats and one beta fish.
